Validating Your Goals

Hi my lovelies! I am so excited about this goal setting series we are embarking on together!

As we discussed last week, sometimes the “G” word can be a struggle for a myriad of reasons and one of those is how our brain can react to those goals in an effort to keep us safe. At least, the brain’s version of safe.

But what if we could train our brain to LOVE our goals? How effective would you be at achieving your goals if instead of fearing them, your brain was seeking them out?

Look, I have been there. I have set the big scary goals, I’ve set the S.M.A.R.T. goals- if it involves goals, I have probably tried it.

Then I figured it out. I realized how to re-train our brains to LOVE our goals.

When I started to validate and nurture my brains thoughts about my goals, they became much easier to stick with.

Does that mean they will just magically happen with no effort? Of course not.

Does that mean you can make your brain your best ally in your goal setting process? I believe so. I believe in you and I believe completely in this process.

Come listen as I am so excited to share this week’s podcast with you.

Today we explore:

·         Recognizing the differences in our types of goals impacts how to positively associate them in your brain

·         Learning the 3 attributes we can use to “hack” our thoughts about goals
